Day 12

Today we woke up early as the kids started classes. Phuc was awake part of the night and didn’t want to get up so Xuan and me took Thach Tao to the school.

We went for breakfast at a coffee shop near home and we ate and drink the usual and after chitchat we headed back home.

Then decided to have a girls pampering day! First we went for manicure and pedicure and I tried what is really fashionable here in Vietnam. Just have a look! =)

Then we ate lunch and went for hair washing. Yes, that’s right! Here you can go to stores only to wash your hair just because you feel lazy. And the funny thing is that first you seat in a chair and they pour a little bit of shampoo and water in your dry hair. Then head massage for 10/15 minutes and you’re taken in the back: you lay down in a kind of bed with the sink to wash hair attached and while your hair is being washed you can rest. You can also have a face refresher, which means having cucumber stripes all over your face for other 10/15 minutes. Before washing for the last time your hair you’re also gifted with a simple arms, neck and head massage. It’s just amazing everyone should try it!

Time to go pick Thach Tao and as soon as she hears me she comes running into my arms. She’s a very beautiful girl!

We leave her at home and head to the photo shop to print a couple of pictures, as here they’re just really cheap. Then we went to Xuan’s mum house and to the sculpture factory where Xuan ordererd a couple of statues. Finally we went to a shop where they make New Ywar’s dragons and tried to order 2 for Thach Tao and Phuc but they were closing and we could only order the tails.

Time for dinner and Phuc asks to go to the park after so he can spend his accumulated energies. We’re there running and playing and having lots of fun. We’re playing catching and txu txu train and Phuc falls and hurts his legs… the fun is over, he’s hurt and needs to be taken care of. Nothing too serious but he’s a child and when you’re litte, everything seems a big deal. =)

Time to update the blog, talk to dad (mum went to the gym, very well) and time to sleep.
