Second day of classes so let’s hurry
up leaving the children at school, eat an American Vietnamese breakfast and
leave to our school.
Today it’s time to learn how to do
facial massage and even if half of the lesson is theory I’m able to understand
what’s happening by the examples the teacher give. I draw frenetically in my
book with all the explanations in Portuguese… you know; who doesn’t have a dog
hunts with a cat! (Portuguese proverb)
The second part of the class, the
teacher exemplifies on a student. I’ve learned how to clean the face after a
cleansing, how to wrap a towel and even what animals feel when they’re in a
zoo. Not that I mind and, in fact, was really amusing but after the
demonstration all my Vietnamese classmates were staring at me and asking Xuan
questions about me. Guess my appearance scares a couple of them but my heart is
as soft as butter…
Time to go get Till to the airport. We
seat and wait, a couple of blondes pass by us and then there’s Till with a
jacket and a long-sleeved shirt… I understand was cold in Frankfurt but c’mon!
It’s 28º here!
Time to lunch, a little rest and a
long walk with Till showing him around, in the middle we managed to talk a
little bit about what’s happening in our lives and agreeing that I’m a big
sister to him with authorization to kick his butt if doesn’t act like a grown
up.
We go pick up Thach Tao and Phuc and
they get so happy when they see their brother that I’m really sorry I hadn’t
bring my camera to shoot it. We go for ice cream and then head home.
Dinner and bed as tomorrow we go to
the temple in the countryside and we have to get up early.
Night night peeps!
