So, today’s the first day after
classes and I feel a little bit sleepy as I’m not used to get up around 6 am
and go to bed around 9 pm. Xuan and me leave the kids at school and go for
breakfast with Miss Thoa and Chi Mi to yesterday’s place. The news today is
that I actually see a rat crossing the street... well, we learn to live with
it, I assure you.
We have to hurry up as Xuan as work
to do today and so I’m on my own. I rest a little bit after breakfast and
around 10 am I go for a walk.

I learned that wasn’t a great idea, in fact,
around this time it’s really really hot and I walked for an hour through places
I’m not able to go back again with every Vietnamese person looking at me.

This
one-hour walk seemed like the last walk of my life and finished with 3 huge
blisters to prove it!
I stop by the supermarket to buy a
tea and with these prices it’s better to take a whole truck of it, one bottle
costs 0.36 €. Heading home for lunch and resting a little bit more.
I start organizing my nail painting
stuff in the table kitchen and it’s already time to go pick Thach Tao and Phuc.
Their school is really nice and when they start classes and when they leave
there’s always music playing and it’s a mess of parents with motorbikes and
kids and helmets everywhere.
As soon as we arrive home Miss Thach
Tao gets amazed with all the nail polish on the table and starts saying she
wants to have her nails done with pink and yellow. After a while she gives up
and starts playing with the nail polishers which end in disaster: the red one
breaks all over her and it seems she was involved in a murder… and so did I! Trying
to clean her up was a mistake as my hands ended up all red too. A couple of
screams and reprimands after she’s smiling again.
Time to eat dinner and head to bed
as tomorrow’s class day and we have to get up early.
Night night everyone, don’t let the
bedbugs bite!
P.S. - This have been haunting me since I've passed it for the first time...
