It’s 6.30 am, time to
get up, get ready and put the kids at school. This morning they seem very happy
and with a good mood which can be translated in no crying until we leave their
school. In the way to breakfast we buy soy milk and this is the real thing, you
know… it comes warm and it’s really good, doesn’t taste nothing like the soy
milk that are sold in the supermarket. We have breakfast at the lady next to
home and while that, one of the girls that sat next to me thinks that’s very
weird that I know how to eat with chopsticks as, normally, easterners don’t
know how to do it. Long story short, I’ve learned in my 8th b-day
and since then never stopped.
After breakfast we
head home ‘cause Xuan has a meeting with the accountant and while she does
that, I’ll be watching a couple of TV shows and editing some more videos.
It’s already time to
lunch and today there’s fried fish, green beans with garlic, steamed rice and
chicken soup with veggies. Xuan needs to go to the bank but she feels tired so
tells me that she will rest a bit and then we’ll go. With that she goes
upstairs and I go finish to watch US History channel’s Vikings with Gabriel
Byrne. It’s really good!
Knock at my door and
it’s Xuan calling me to go to the bank. Today it’s hot as I’m almost not able
to have my jacket on. After the bank we stop at another chai latte shop and
order our favourite and even if the drink here is not s good as the one near
home, the jellies are much better. We continue our way and our next stop is the
place where I’m going to learn for good nail art painting. I hope one day I’ll
be able to do things like this…
It’s time to pick the
kids at school and there we go riding with the wind… I pick up Phuc and he runs
to me when he sees me. We have to wait for Thach Thao as she started her
English lessons and finishes a little bit later so Phuc goes and plays around a
little bit. The kids asked for a helicopter and a dinosaur so after leaving
school we go in search of these 2 toys without being able to find it. We leave
the kids at home and head to the Vincom centre, the shopping mall. We’ve been
there a couple of hours, as we couldn’t decide what to buy to the kids, but
finally we found a truck with a helicopter for Phuc and a dragon and its egg
for Thach Tao.
Time to head home and
see the joy in their faces! Phuc has such a big smile that I know Xuan bought
him the perfect gift and Thach Tao gets so happy when she sees the dragon that I
have to build the dragon first and Phuc has to wait a little bit before I can
also open his box and give him the truck.
It’s time for dinner
already and Chi Mi fries a couple of eggs for me and I eat them with the rice
and end it with lunch’s veggie soup. When I go upstairs to my room, the kids
come to meet me and play with their toys, after a while I manage to put them
quiet by starting to show them Disney’s Aladdin.
The kids go to bed
when Chi Mi comes to pick them up and so I guess it’s time for my shower and TV
show time before falling asleep.

P.S.- today is father's day and it was with great pleasure that I called my dad, wished him a very good day and told him how much I love him. HAPPY FATHER'S DAY QUIM! =)
