Saturday, no waking
up hours, no errands to run… nothing! Guess I was wrong! I wake up at 6.30 and
stay rolling in my bed until I start hearing Chi Mi, Chi Lam and Xuan’s mum
talking and then I know it’s time to start moving myself.
I get ready and wait
for Xuan and the kids to come down. Only Xuan comes down and tells me that
we’re going for breakfast and then we’ll have to go to a porcelain store to see
dinner sets for Lisbon, the farm and the temple. The way seems too long and I’m
thinking that I did well when I took the hoody with me otherwise I’d get burned
with the sun and the wind while in the bike.
When we arrive to the
store Xuan wanted to go, we realize it’s a small store and they don’t have so
many things to choose from. After walking around a little bit, asking a couple
of prices and just bringing a box, we left and head to Saigon Centre in
district 1. There’s a store there that has lots of dinner sets choices and
other stuff very cool.
We arrive, Xuan puts
the bike at the parking lot and we go up. We walk around and they have the same
stuff of the other store and other pretty sets. Xuan chooses 2 dinner sets, one
for Lisbon and another for the farm and the temple and starts order the
quantities of all the plates, bowls, spoons and all the other stuff needed…
after a couple of calculations, I decide to buy a dinner set to my house too,
hoping that my mum likes my choice… =)
It’s 2 pm when we
leave and it’s to late for me to go to the nail salon so we go home, we have
lunch and I help Xuan with the container list. When we finish is 5 pm and we
still have errands to run so lets hop on the bike and go battle Saigon’s
traffic.
A couple of hours
pass and it’s time to head back home for dinner. We’re almost dead but there’s
always strength to eat barbeque and it’s what we do. Unfortunately no more
chicken wings so I have to stay with pork ribs that are also very good. When we
finish dinner we go home and I head to my room and after a shower a decide to
go rest until the next day…
Night night everyone,
don’t let the bedbugs bite!
P.S. - this is what a change in instruments and voice can make to a cheesy music...
