There’s no classes
today but we still have to leave Thach Thao and Phuc at school so let’s get up,
get ready and let’s go let’s go as my friend Xuan likes to say. =) After
leaving them we go to the market to buy a couple of stuff needed for lunch,
then we stop at home and we go to the street market next to home to buy some
fruit and finally try to go eat breakfast but the place we always go it’s
closed. Now we have a dilemma: what are we going to eat for breakfast? The easy
answer was Vietnamese American breakfast!
Breakfast is done so
we hop on the motorbike and go for a cà phê sữa đá in the center. We go to this
coffee shop called Highlands and we stay there talking for a long time, we talk
about our families and the differences in both our cultures and you know, the
differences theme will give you talk for a whole day, week, month or year.
When we finish we go for a window-shopping spree and we go to the mall
where the coffee shop is in. we see a couple of nice things but the prices are
too expensive so we keep window shopping until we arrive to a store where they
sell porcelain eating and drinking sets and we see three nice Buddhas along
with some nice fishes where you can rest the chopsticks. Our window-shopping
stopped and we got on shopping mode. It’s so nice to be a girl… =)
Time to go for lunch
at home so here we go again. Quick lunch and after we go for a foot massage. I
don’t remember very well what happened as the place had few lights and the
massage was really nice. This time I had a guy doing the massage and he was
really strong even if he had a girl’s voice, Xuan left in the middle of the
massage ‘cause the girl she got was really sh*tty. When I come down I don’t see
Xuan until she screams my name from the other side of the street. She’s in this
shop that sells fresh milk and it tastes really really good, yes, I know
because I drank it!
We head home and
while Xuan does some work at the office, I surf on the web about things to do
here in HCMC and interesting places to visit. Around 4.30 pm we go pick up the
kids and we’re already late. At the top of the stairs Thach Thao sees me and
comes running towards me, we get her stuff while Xuan go pick up Phuc.
When we’re at home, I
go help Xuan and the kids go out with Chi Mi and Chi Lam. Around their
dinnertime they’re back and I don’t even hear them, I’ve been editing a couple
of photos and I’m really on it until Thach Thao and Phuc come to my room to
play with me. We play a little bit and I even have Thach Thao asking me to
tickle her, which is kind of a new thing. It’s time they go to bed and
dinnertime for Xuan and me.
Barbeque timeeeee! We
seat and my food is served, Xuan almost doesn’t need to ask the food for me
anymore as they all recognize me and say hi. As always the chicken cutlets are
great and the passion fruit juice too. When we’re headin’ to the motorbike I’m
joking with the fact they already know me and that they’re my friends now and
maybe one day I can work there and Xuan translates for them and everyone starts
laughing and yes, I think I’m making friends. Well at least everyone looks at
me and tells Xuan how lovely I look like, even if my mum didn’t forbidden me to
make tattoos and ruin my lovely arms… hehehehehe
Time to go home,
updating the blog, shower, TV show and sleep!
Night night peeps!
