Day 74

I don’t know why but it’s the 2^nd day in a row that I’m not in the mood for anything… today I got up and my mood went down the drain but I still have to take my shower, get dressed and ready because today we’re going for breakfast with Mr. Truong, Miss Hoa, Mr. Tho and Miss Loan.

We go to this place called 7 Wonders and for breakfast I have prawn noodle soup and a cà phê sữa đá. The kids eat and then go play outside as this place has a big green park next to it. We stay there talking for a while and then everyone gets up and head to their homes.

At home I head to my room and prepare my nail art stuff and start practicing. My mood is still down and so I tell Xuan that I don’t want to go to the nail shop and I prefer to stay at home practicing instead. It’s time for lunch and we eat beef stew with orange, it seems it’s a very popular dish in the countryside and a little bit heavy I guess… anyway, after lunch I continue my designs and I have it for every taste!

While I’m doing my stuff, my friend Thoung calls me and invites me for dinner with her boyfriend and another girl friend, of course I accept and so I finish my designs and go get ready. Take a shower, the make-up’s on, my dress is ready and I grab my stuff and leave the house. I walk to their hotel and when Thuong’s friend arrives we go for dinner.

Dinner is really good and we even do a couple of photos.

When we finish we want desert so we call a taxi and go to an ice cream place near Saigon center… the name of this place is Fanny (let’s not enter in details…) we order ice cream for everyone.

We have a blast and I make everyone laugh with my stories about how I’ve been leaving in HCMC and my impressions of what surrounds me. Around 9 pm is time to go back home so we decide to walk a little bit, first to Thoung’s hotel and then I go by myself towards home. But only after I take a picture of Thuong’s motorbike… =)

At home, I feel tired but happy for this night out and so I dress my p-jays and watch “Gangster Squad” with Josh Brolin, Sean Penn, Emma Stone and my “secret lover” Ryan Gosling… I have to say I was expecting so much more from this movie! After watch it, I think there’s only one good line in the whole movie and belongs to Ryan’s character when he’s talking for the first time with Emma Stone’s character.

A little bit disappointed I go to sleep ‘cause tomorrow’s another day and I hope my mood will be much better!
