Good Morning Sunshine! Or at least was what I was thinking when I woke
up at 6 am… I roll in bed until 6.30 am and then go for my daily routine:
shower, get dressed and get ready, today not to take Thach Thao and Phuc to
school but to start walking to Din Ky where we’re going to have breakfast.
While Carlos and Xuan take the kids to school I start walking and it’s
a radiant day. After last week’s bad start, this day starts much better: sun, a
walk before breakfast and a video of my walk. Maybe it seems weird but I think
that later will be fun to relive all this little things I’ve done and there’s
not a better way than watching it.
At Din Ky I wait outside for Xuan and Carlos to arrive and when they
arrive we seat for breakfast. Today Xuan changes our order a little bit and
asks seafood and prawns noodle soup. We eat it eagerly, we pay and go for the
coffee shop and when I say go it means that the 3 of us hopped on the motorbike
and headed to 343 coffee shop.
Carlos left Xuan at the market and took me to the coffee shop and then
went to get her. When we’re all together, Xuan orders cà phê sữa đá for
everyone and we stay for a nice while.
Around 10.30 am Carlos and Xuan head back home and I walk home. At
home I do what I should have done since last week: updating my blog and
preparing some new photos. Maybe it seems this is easy but in fact it isn’t. It
takes time to write and even more time choosing the photos I want to show on
the blog so I can say I spent almost the whole day doing it.
When it’s lunchtime I stop and go to eat and have the intention to go
to the center buy the theater ticket and a tea set for my friend Carlos Rosa
but it starts raining so I decide I’ll go for a massage and then I’ll go there.
Xuan and Carlos join me at the intention of having a massage and so we head to
the massage parlor. My number 27 is busy, my number 2 goes to Carlos and so I
stay with number 12… she’s good but not as good as my 2 favorites! After the
massage we go to the steam bath and sweat! =) Xuan tells me that when we’ll be finished
the ticket office won’t be open so I go back home and continue my blog quest
until dinnertime.
We eat lau for dinner: boiled soup with seafood or beef in a hotpot
where you also bath the noodles. This soup has coconut water and pineapple
juice and it’s always really tasty! After dinner, Carlos and Xuan take Thach Thao
and Phuc to the park and I head to the office where the Internet coverage is on
full speed so I can upload everything I need.
I finish around 8 pm and when I want to take a shower… there’s no more
water! There’s nothing I can do besides, put my p-jays and watch TV shows until
I fall asleep… =)
Night night peeps!
