Do you hear what I hear? Yes, it’s Rancid telling me it’s 6.30 am and
it’s time to get my butt out of bed! I go for the shower, get dressed and when
I hear the kids I’m already ready to take them to school.
As today I’m going to the market with Thuong Vy and Miss Loan, after
we leave the kids at school, I eat breakfast at home. When I finish, Thoung Vy
is at the gate and ready to go meet Miss Loan. We go by motorbike to Miss
Loan’s home and then the 3 of us go to the market.
At the market I buy some supplies for my nail drawing baby business
and Thuong Vy buys everything she needs to start her practicing. I buy a couple
of rhinestones, glitter and colored acrylic powder to start the 3D drawings.
Then Miss Loan head’s to her dentist appointment and Thuong Vy and me go to the
nail shop near Ben Than. There, first Thuong Vy eats breakfast at the market
and then I loose my head at the nail shop! =) I buy so many other stuff that I
think is going to last for the next 20 years. I even buy something to put on
the nails so they look like velvet! AMAZING!
When we’re ready, Thuong
Vy leaves me at home and I have lunch with Xuan, Xuan’s mother, Chi Mi and Chi
Lam. After lunch, we do Flan and for the first time I’m able to register it for
posterity (later I’ll let you have the recipe)!
After doing the flan I feel really lazy so I just lay in my bed while
watching a couple of TV shows. Xuan picks up the kids alone so when they arrive
they want to play and my mood is up so I play tickles and draw with them. They
go shower and when it’s time for dinner it starts raining so much that my plans
to go out after dinner go down the drain, in fact, we can only leave the house
by boat so I go back to my room relax with my favorite thing: TV shows! =)
When it’s time… sleep but never before taking my nightly and much
deserved shower!
