Day 85

We’re back to our routine: waking up at 6.30 am in the morning, shower, get dressed and get ready to take the kids to school. Thach Thao and Phuc are really excited to go to school ‘cause they can show their friends the carnival masks they got the day we went to Den Sen Park.

After leaving the kids to school, Xuan and me head to Lady Bulldog for breakfast and at home, Xuan needs to help Chi Mi as chi Lam went to the countryside ‘cause her baby nephew got burned on his hand so I go to the office and search for new nail art designs to do. Near lunchtime Xuan’s ready and needs my help to do some invoices so, for the first time, I write in Vietnamese… yes! With the help of Gmail but anyway, I write it and after around 2 hours we finish it. Very funny…

We have lunch and while Xuan goes to rest for a bit, I go for some nail practicing and this was the result:

At 4 pm I call Xuan so we go get the kids. The sky is turning grey very fast so we also drive very fast. We pick them up and head home again. Xuan has a meeting and I paint a bunny in Thach Thao’s toe nails and also paint my toe nails, been trying a couple of new stuff on me…

My father shows up on Skype and we chat for a little bit. In the meantime the kids go to the park with Chi Mi and Chi Lam that already arrived from the countryside, Xuan goes to leave some fabrics at the tailor and when she’s ready, she calls me, I say bye bye to my dad and we go for dinner.

We head to the barbeque but when we arrive there, the place is closed! PANIC! Where are we going to eat good food today?! We go around for a bit and then we stop at the other amazing good place: Phò Lé! =) We order 2 phò bó, 2 eggs and 2 iced teas and this food ends up in my belly as nice as silk in skin… after dinner, we drive a little bit more and stop in this Chinese place to eat our dessert. I don’t even know what Xuan orders for her but for me I order pudding and I’m ok with it.

It’s time to head home and even if Xuan asks me if I wanna go for a walk, I really don’t want to, I wanna go back home, finish my nails, shower, some TV shows and bed, guess I’m in one of those days…

And at home is exactly what I do: I shower, I finish my nails and watch some TV shows until it’s time for bed.
