Day 97

6.30 am and Rancid don’t let me continue in my trance… I get up, go to the shower and get dressed. I hear Thach Thao and Phuc talking and I know in a little bit it’s time to take them to school. I go downstairs and wait for them and when we’re all ready we go to school.

My mood is not the best today, I think the museum yesterday affected me in a way I wasn’t expecting so after school we go for breakfast at Lady Bulldog and then I go back to my room. I have no will to do anything and just want to be there…

I spend the whole day without doing anything besides doing my nails and watch Game Change with Julianne Moore. Guess Mrs. Sarah Palin wasn’t the sharpest pencil in the box… but Julianne Moore does a great part!

At lunch I don’t eat much and just stay there at the table listening to Xuan, Chi Lam, Chi Mi and Xuan’s mum talking in Vietnamese… I guess today I’m feeling like a zombie…

After lunch I finish watching Game Change and watch a couple of TV shows and it’s time to go pick up the kids at school but not even their smiles and laughs today make my mood change so I just keep to myself…

After leaving them at home, Xuan and me go to the tailor to check how things are going and to change one of the dresses I ordered… I guess the fact that one of the dresses is not how I asked also makes my mood even downer…

When we finish the things with the tailor, Xuan, Miss Hoan and me go for dinner at this seafood place. Once more, I don’t wanna talk, I don’t wanna eat I just wanna go home and close myself in my safe place… we eat some nice food with, maybe, too much chili for me, and some noodles that I love. Finally it’s time to go back home and I couldn’t be happier…

At home I take my shower and jump into bed with a movie, Broken City.

This one is ok, not one of my favorites but it’s nice to spend a bit thinking about conspiracy theories and who killed who and why…
